The legendary New Zealand band The Verlaines is thrilled to present ‘Live at the Windsor Castle, Auckland May 1986’ on vinyl for the very first time. This limited edition LP is exclusively available for Record Store Day 2021, featuring a stunning gatefold design that replicates the original vintage gig poster.
This collectible New Zealand rock vinyl LP comes in a vibrant sky blue color, complete with a download code and insightful liner notes from lead singer Graeme Downes. He shares, ‘This album may end up in the hands of people who weren’t even born when these performances took place, so, let me tell you what it was like. The Verlaines, at that time, were Graeme Downes, Jane Dodd, and Robbie Yeats, living in Dunedin at the near-bottom of the South Island of New Zealand, attending University. These gigs were recorded to capture a live version of Slow Sad Love Song for our upcoming Birddog album.’
With only 1,000 copies available, this vinyl record is a must-have for any serious collector. Don’t miss your chance to own one of the best live concert albums on vinyl.
