Experience the rich sounds of The dB’s with their latest release, I Thought You Wanted To Know: 1978-1981. This LP presents a collection of home and field recordings that precede the band’s debut album, Stands For deciBels, by two to three years. Many of these tracks are making their public debut in this special package, offering a unique glimpse into the band’s early creative process.
Released on October 22, 2021, this album not only showcases the evolution of rock music during that era but also highlights the best indie bands to listen to now. Over thirty years since some of these tracks first appeared on Rhino Records, we are excited to introduce them to a whole new audience.
